RELATIONSHIT
He felt sure it was the right thing
to move in with her,
but she turned into a monster
while moving the furniture.
Ever since that day, he's been berated -
thought that she had loved him, but he's hated.
One day they're like chalk and cheese,
the next, they're a perfect fit;
everyone tip-toes around them
to not step in their relationshit.
She makes him feel like he's a star
who can still get the finer chicks;
she smears her dissatisfaction with him
anywhere that it sticks:
complaining about him to his friends behind his back
that he's spoiled, alcoholic and dead in the sack.
When she's with him, it's honey and sweetness
as though her personality's split,
while his friends all wear the stink
of her relationshit.
A brand new love in your life -
let's hear a round of applause.
All your friends are expected to be
celebrating your cause.
You love your love life
and love to live to love it,
and assume that everyone you know
is a big fan of it.
But you never see heartbreak comin'
and you hardly ever know you've been hit
until you have to wake up in
your own relationshit.
So much time and effort it takes
to scrape off every bit
of the stuff that gets on the shoes
from stepping in relationshit.
